Brice Seating Line of FeatherWeight™ Seats Create a lot of Interest in the Industry; What Was a Single Seat Offering May Become The Series for All Cabins

LONG BEACH, CA — SEPT. 9, 2008 … TIMCO Aerosystems announced today at the Aircraft Interiors Expo that due to the exceptional industry interest in the Brice Seating line of low-weight, high-comfort FeatherWeight™ regional and economy-class seats, the company is introducing an expanded FeatherWeight™ line that will include business class seats for standard and widebody aircraft.  The new series of slim, high-comfort seats will each be designed and built to be the lightest in its class.  Designated the 3000 series, each FeatherWeight™ seat model will offer advanced ergonomic, passenger interface and IFE integration strategies. According to Richard Ortiz, General Manager of Brice Seating, “The new generation of seat will feature less moving parts and higher reliability than traditional seats. According to our design and manufacturing analysis, FeatherWeight™ Seats will typically weigh 10% lighter than competitive models weigh today.”
